Elegance is the Norm

The Costume Institute Gala at the Met, is always one of the most talked about events during the fashion year, and rightfully so, the designers, models, guests, and celeb's donned amazing frocks any person with a pulse would have to be crazy not to covet! It would be hard to say I had a favorite, everyone looked great, but I do have a top list of looks. Go on and tell me who you thought looked fab, who looked drab, and if you do or don't agree with what I have up!

The Silver Lining....

Sarah Jessica Parker in Halston--she will always be Carrie to me, espesh with that giant flower in her hair...

Emma Watson in Burberry--so chic

Anne Hathaway in Valentino--it is a ball after all!

Nicole Richie in Marc Jacobs--my disco glitter queen, really liking the brunette on her!

Rock n' Roll on fire...

Elizabeth Banks in Gucci---side panels, omg I D.I.E.

Giselle B√ľndchen in Alexander Wang ---so f-ing fierce, can do no wrong

MIA in Alexander Wang for GAP--really beautiful!

Jessica Szohr in Versace--goth glam, a bit of a departure for her

Sex pots...
Kerry Washington in Thakoon--I like her styling

Eva Mendes in Dolce and Gabanna--she always looks good styled like this

Was that enough for you?!! I also really dug Carolina Herrera in her own creation--the hot pink confection with the elbow length white gloves--but can't find it anywhere.
