stressed

Life's been so terribly hectic for me lately, I'm starting to think I don't handle change well with trying to finalize everything with grad school applications, apartment hunting, apartment moving, midterms coming up, GMAT prep- it's all getting to be too much, all at the same time- I'm freaking out!

I need to breathe, do yoga, meditate, and probably stop drinking so much coffee- it is making it worse. How do you all deal with overwhelming times in your life?

But since this blog is mostly about fashion and not about my need for much needed therapy, below is an outfit I am thrilled came together fairly well. This crown braid has been a constant weekend hair-do (when I actually have time to do it) since I realized I might/want to chop my hair off in the next few weeks, I really like the feel of short hair, it's pretty liberating. And these Ray Bans are my new favorite sunnies- I have wanted these aviator's since forever ago. I finally got them with a discount code on Revolve Clothing. Gotta love discount codes!

{F21 coat and necklace, Target tank, layered kimono top purchased at Marshall's, Blank Denim jeans, Steve Madden wedges, Ray-Ban aviator's, bracelets vintage and H&M}

  5. I usually combat stress by forcing myself to take an evening of time off to just laze on the couch and watch TV - I find that after 3 hours or so I just fall asleep and get a solid 8-9 hours and wake up feeling better than ever!

  7. You look so gorgeous, and I love your 'do. Seriously, hair tutorial?! My hair is short now, but when it gets longer, I'd like to know how to do that! And yes - chop off your hair. I feel so weird saying this, but I feel like every girl needs to do that once in her life.
    I hope life starts to calm down for you <3

  8. I absolutely love this outfit, it looks fantastic on you! I know what you mean about stressing. My dorm lease is coming to an end and I've been searching for apartments endlessly. Unfortunately no luck for me. Deep breaths, a cup of tea, and a great workout always help! Good luck :)

    P.S. I'm definitely following!

    i find comfort in numbers, so knowing that i am not the only one who is busy and stressed makes me feel better. also, knowing that it won't be that way forever help. and last but not least i read daily word religiously. it always seems to stay the right things and the right times.

    I deal with stress by writing lists of things I need to do and crossing them off one at a time...makes me feel like I accomplished something and I am closer to NOT being as stressed. lol.

  22. I'm obsessing over your F21 coat, other than accessories, I never get lucky with that store.

    about handling stress, what helps me is to force myself to take at lease 24 hour break....take a long walk, surrounded by fresh air and beautiful scenes. Yoga is also good, depending on what form you are doing. Most importantly, surrounding yourself the things and ppl you love and are good to you is a stress release for me.

  25. I found The GMAT Coach on Google and their program worked beautifully for me. I watched it on my big screen, in my lay-z-boy. They were cool as hell and helped me out when I needed it.

  26. I think that the GMAT is very important because a good score can get you into a good business program like this. I think getting a jump on the GMAT as soon as possible is something that everyone should consider
