I love dressing up for work, and this sassy yet 9-5 appropriate look totally did it for me! The pop of colors in the necklace, and my bright digits reminded me that I work in a creative, start up environment and not some stuffy office! And can we talk about these heels? The wrap around look has been on my radar for awhile, but alas, these types of shoes are not so easy to find. Any tips on where I can find more? I'm currently digging the Jean-Michel Cazabat Isolas, but hrmph- they are sold out!!

First outfit back to work after Christmas and it includes sparkle, go figure. Is is weird to say a sparkly top is a basic in my wardrobe? I've worn it, and these snake print pants during the day mind you- way too often! Oh well. Happy Friday!

Everyone loves a bargain, myself included so of course when I saw this J. Crew blazer in person (which I had been currently online stalking) I had to have it! But, ouch, even at the sale price it was still a little out of my normal spending habits. So what does a girl on a mission do? Why, purchase and return, and re-purchase and re-return the items three times until it finally goes on final sale and she gets it at the lowest price possible, including an extra 30% off! Thanks to my girl, Baby Budget Blog, who inspired the money saving madness, who always gets it right, and always gets the best deal in town! xx

If there is one thing I love more than J. Crew and painting my nails new colors each week, its layering. Layering can do wonders for what your working with, and it just so happened that this very strange pairing of the cutoff vest, long drape-y cardigan and A-line hippie dress meshed well with a little thought, a lot of jewelry and a major platform! The aforementioned "A-line hippie dress" is an absolute favorite, and even though it reminds me of a throwback mama used to wear in another time, I love that I actually scored it in present day!

My affinity for Rebecca Minkoff bags is beginning to span the rainbow- first it was salmon, now its a deep purple- why can't I ever get a normal color like black? I have been eying this one since what feels like forever, and after two sellouts, I finally got my mitts on it. Needless to say I've been over-wearing it daily.

It's been way too long my friends, I have been a bad blogger, and I have always said I wouldn't make excuses, so here I am pleading for your affection and return visit. I've been away for too long, but now I'm back! I was on hiatus traveling to London for a family holiday, and needed a vacation from that vacation so ultimately I disconnected myself from all social media- including this blog, which needed some much deserved love. So this is me trying to make it all better- in from of pretty new pictures! 

Hope you like! I wore this to a SF blogger meetup/photo shoot a while back and never got the chance to post them. My goto's for a stylish date with some stylish ladies-- my never fail pumps, an armload of gold glitz, some sassy pants, and of course the perennial pop of color needed in every girls outfit! 

Well stay tuned mates- I've got loads of travel pics from London, and I can't seem to put the sparkle away after NYE, so you know I've got some killer outfit posts coming up! My new years resolution may have to include more frequents updates from moi. Just sayin'. Cheers!
