bohemian fall

Guess what? Remember this dress? I've repurposed it for fall, and it makes an exceptional layering piece, especially for this very boho look I've concocted. A few extra layers here, a fedora there, and a great ankle bootie to add into the mix! One of my favorite fall looks to date...

{a.n.a. sweater (similar Milly style!), Nicole Richie for Macy's top, Aqua dress worn as skirt, Sperry Top-Sider boots, Zara coat, Milani lipstick: Sangria}

I'm not generally a match-my-lipstick-to-my-clothes gal, but in this particular instance, and on accident, it just so happened to work out perfectly. This raspberry-sangria hue matches exactly what I would think of fall if it were a color. The shade is fresher and lighter than the burgundy and the oxbloods that are all too prominent this time of year. Give me raspberry over oxblood any day.

fashion workout

{J. Crew blazer, Banana Republic Factory sweater c/o (similar style), Zara denim, Nike Running shoes}

I love switching things up, so I decided to wear a portion of my workout gear to work- comfy and chic. Besides, makes running to catch my train so much easier than wearing heels!

I recently received a lovely Breast Cancer Awareness workout set from Macy's and while I'll definitely wear this to boot camp classes, I also love the idea of incorporating a more fashion forward approach to styling this up. Check out my set below on how else I'd style this set! What do you think- running sneakers in your fashion future?

{J. Crew tweed blazer, thrifted paisley dress, Nine West boots, Chanel brooch, handbag from Prague, Milani lipstick: Best Red}

I've really taken to this whole grunge trend that's happening right now in fashion. The plaid, the moody hues, the 90's burgundy lip--it's all so good. This look is only the tip of the iceberg, get ready for a lot more grunge-chic inspired looks coming your way!

the great es-cape

{Banana Republic Factory cape c/o (great similar style), Newport News plaid flannel, J. Crew cargo skinnies, Jean Michel Cazabat heels, Milani lipstick, Ann Taylor cuff, handbag find from Prague, Zero UV sunglasses c/o StyleSays}

It's officially sweater weather, and while I feel like I didn't get a proper summer I'm OK with that- and ready for cozy layers, deeper hued lipsticks, and yummy fall treats! Speaking of yummy treats, how good is this cape? It's the perfect layering peice and I already can think of several ways to style it up. How many of you have a fall cape and are ready to rock it?

If you have a minute, I'd love your support! I need my fellow readers and friends to leave a comment on this very same post in Monogram mag! If I get enough comments I might win a post on Banana Republic Factory's FB page! Pretty, pretty please, and thank you so much!!
