You know when you have a rough start to the week, but by the time the middle of the week rolls around it picks up and things get good again? Well that was last week for me. I had an awful first few days, had a pretty good middle of the week, and an even better weekend!
I was lucky enough to be able to attend a few events, and even hosted my Bloomies COLLECTIVE event on Thursday. We had the cutest red velvet-glitter cake pops, French 75 cocktails, and mini Sofia champagne cans for guests as well as all the latest spring trends like Clover Canyon, Tibi and Milly! It was a ton of fun- thanks so much to all my SF friends who came out to support!
I kicked off Friday night with a bottle of La Marca that I've been saving for some time now, and realized I didn't need a bigger celebration that that fact that it was Friday, and I made it through another week. So I dusted off my fancy gold-rimmed champagne flutes and poured myself a glass…or two.
Saturday mourning I started my day with a boot camp class, and finally dug though some fabulous beauty products that were graciously gifted to me. Let's just say I'm obsessed with a lighter spring palette and can't wait to share my favorites with you! Later that day I took a little trip into the city and visited the ever-so-sweet Kate Dean Jewelry team at their sample sale at the Bell Jar boutique in the Mission. And as dusk rolled around I ended my evening engrossed in a fascinating cocktail making workshop. We learned the proper way to make yummy drinks like a Negroni, a Manhattan and even an Old-Fashioned!
Overall, it was one of the better weekends I've had in a while, and that didn't even include Sunday. Here's hoping we all have a good one again this time around!
