back to cool

{Jigsaw pullover (similar style) c/o, JOA plaid skirt c/o Le Tote, Vince heels, Stila lip color Beso}

The minute I put this outfit on it reminded me of my high school days- prim and proper- uniform and all. Fun fact about me: I grew up in San Francisco and went to school here at a Catholic, all girls high school! And yes, I wore a uniform with a plaid skirt quite similar in color to this one (which I hiked up as much as I could) and a navy v-neck sweater that was much less cozy, and a lot more scratchy than my trusty Jigsaw one. Red lips were definitely not allowed, and sneakers were the norm, as was a JanSport backpack. This look is a heck of a lot more chic than what I used to wear, I love it for it's prim reminder of my past, the femininity it exudes, and the classic ladylike vibe it gives off- just call me Mrs. Betty Draper.
