This is what I wore on day one of our journey a few weeks ago in Montreal. I posted a few Instagram's here and there but didn't really go into full on OOTD mode, mostly because I was enjoying my timeout on all things social media and went into vacation mode. But if you were following along you probably noticed the few times I did post, I was wearing some sort of fur item. At some point the fur became less of an accessory and more of a functioning part of my outfit- it really was a sport getting dressed in the morning, layers and layers and layers. At the coldest it was 9 degrees Fahrenheit. As a born and raised SF girl, I get irritated when it dips below 50 degrees, so this was kind of a big deal for me. Here I am wearing about 6 layers.

I am obsessed with this faux fur infinity scarf, not only did it help me feel like it elevated my outfit, because let me tell you it's hard to look cute in 9 degree weather, but it really kept the cold off of my neck. Also, obsessed with my new Sperry's! Vacation is no fun when you walk everywhere in uncomfortable shoes, and these were anything but. We literally walked everywhere until the snow storm hit, and these sneakers were comfortable and kept me warm the whole time. I have been wearing them non-stop here at home, and can't wait to style them up for SF weather too.

Stay tuned for more Montreal snaps this week...
