decade style

Ali McGraw, 70's style
Ali's classic structured look:

Jane Birkin, flares, off-the-shoulder top, 70's style
Jane's chic off-the-shoulder moment:

plaid blazer, 70's style, flares, Farrah Fawcett
Farrah's quintessential working-girl chic look:

Mary Tyler Moore, red bandana, silk neck scarf, 70's style
Mary's classic looks that seemed to have inspired today's bandana neck moment:

 70's style, peacoat, Marianne Faithful

Ali, Jane, Farrah, Mary, Marianne- major babes and 70's style icons in their own right. When I think back to shows from that era, the current artist du jour, or old film footage from documentaries of old, one thing is evident- 70's style was all about freedom, and movement, with a sprinkling of excess. I'm so glad the 70's are having a style revival- a very appropriate summer trend if you think about it.

Which 70's babe is your fave?

  1. I have the same scarf as Mary Tyler Moore, love this fashion!

  2. love the inspo! never though i would like the 70s trend, but i've seen it done so beautiful on instagram/pinterest with neutral tones

  3. love the classic fashion inspiration! xxo

Love it, hate it? I want to know!
