There are few things I love more in Autumn than the purchase of a new candle. It signifies a new season, the coziness and comfort of home, and for some a do-over— and we all need one of those. Notes I search for have seasonal hints of fragrant spices, an element of sweetness or I stray very far off and go with a masculine scent- woodsy with hints of pine.
This season I'm starting off with a Moss and Cedarwood scent from a wife and husband duo who created Foxtail Collection. Their goal was to create a candle that was actually good to burn, as, sadly, most aren't — yup even those fancy ones; the black smoke that comes off a candle is actually not good for you or your home. They thought of everything from GMO-free soy wax sourced from American farmers only, to lead-free wicks in each vessel to vegan and chemical free fragrances. Despite being the cleanest candle I've ever had in my home it smells fab and emits the perfect woodsy cedarwood scent. I can smell the holidays not too far off.
Some other scents and vessels I am considering for Fall:
