{Massimo Dutti cardigan, ribbed off-the-shoulder sweater, zip pencil skirt, pumps, lipstick, tote bag}
While in Mexico City over the New Year's break I was good, like real good- I hardly bought anything. With every trip I generally tend to purchase a little something as a token of said trip, a reminder of the journey long after the tan fades, and the mind screenshots get fuzzy. In Mexico that token was the olive cardigan you see above. The minute I saw it shoved between racks of clothing I knew it was coming home in my carry-on. The price point was a tad higher than I wanted to invest in, in a country where the dollar is much stronger, so I left Massimo Dutti with the intention that I would "sleep on it" and come back the following day if it was meant to be. When my husband found a cowl-neck cardigan on his side of the store I took it as a sign, and came back the next day to purchase my cardigan. I couldn't just come home with a bottle of mescal could I now? The mescal would be long gone while this gorgeous olive cardigan will still be keeping me warm.
