I checked out a new-to-me restaurant, True Normand, with Julie not to long ago and loved the ambiance and delightful fare, while it was on the pricier side I recommend it at least once for a treat-yourself moment. The mushroom toast is a must along with a glass of the red.
This weekend went by all too fast. My husband is away for work so I've been spending my time catching up with girlfriends, family and me-time, of course. I spend the day yesterday in the Sunset district of San Francisco with Julie having brunch at the infamous Outerlands, where I ordered the Dutch baby pancake with fresh made ricotta, strawberries and sesame seeds; as well as getting taught how to ride a bike! One of the more exciting things to happen to me this weekend. It's true, this girl doesn't/didn't know how to ride a bike. I've been trying to learn for years on a bike a little too tall for me, so borrowing Julie's bike that was the right size made the process a bit smoother and manageable. Check out my snapchat (carlinaharris) in the next few hours to see the hilarious process.
