The people were pretty, the style was on point, the beverages were aplenty but the food, more importantly- the breakfast was on point. As I mentioned here we stayed in Nørrebro, a chic hipstery neighborhood, akin to the Mission for all my SF readers. It had a bevvy of boutiques, bars and breakfast places like Meyers Bageri. There are only two Meyers pastry shops in the world, one in New York City and one in Copenhagen so you better believe we were going to brave the lines and grab a Danish or two.
After our first trip to Meyers we were hooked! The Tebiekes- poppy seed covered, marzipan filled, flaky layered pastry were even better than I expected, and my personal favorite. We also tried plum and cheese tarts, and real Danish. A few mornings we decided to bring home pastries and eat in our insanely cute AirBNB. It was the perfect way to fuel up for the days adventures in a relaxing and comfortable environment.

If you are in SF I'm hosting an event in SF tonight 9/23 at Les Lunes 5-7pm.  Hope to see you there!
