One is every five girls I know has this bomber. Yes you heard that correct. My coworker, my blog girlfriend, my other blog girlfriend, even my pretend blogger girlfriends. They/we all the say the same thing "I wear it with everything, everyday, on every occasion". And I get it, makes sense, it's a no-fail outfit— it literally goes with everything, and so I deem it to be worn as such.

How would you wear the bomber?

what I wore for #createcultivatedtla

{Mini lace dress, similar style, Leather moto, Stud pumps, Lipstick, Statement necklace, Watch}

Per usual Create + Cultivate, blogger conference extraordinaire, was on point, inspirational and all-around visual stimulation overload- which made for some pretty sweet instagrammable moments. I knew I wanted to up my outfit game but realized it would be near impossible since all the women there would be doing the same and at some point you call it a day and put on something you look and feel good in. This simple black and white outfit did it for me, considering my first option, 1. was little too revealing and 2. it was impressively cold in LA- I didn't even realize that was a possibility. Luckily I had packed a backup, because in true Carlina form I didn't try on option number one until 7am the morning of the conference- insert monkey-covering-mouth emoji. While my black and white outfit is simple I stepped it up by straightening my hair (which didn't want to cooperate), adding a velvety matte red pout, and some killer jewelry- my vintage bracelets and my Beyonće necklace- which always gets complements so I figured it was perfect for C+C.

You know that landmark that is so recognizable from scrolling through an Instagram post, an editorial piece in a magazine, or even passing by said location in the flesh? Ones that come to mind — the ubiquitous Paul Smith "pink wall" in LA, the "You are Loved" street art in NYC or the Prada Marfa art installation standing alone in Texas.

In San Francisco there are so many recognizable landmarks — Chinatown, the Painted Ladies, the Golden Gate Bridge, Napa vineyards— but the one of the most photographed locations you may have seen but not known about is the marble building in the Financial District of San Francisco. If you are a blogger you have seen this place. I've photographed it countless times on my IG here and here. It's a glass atrium of sorts filled with ceiling height palm trees, light streaming through the skylights and the most picturesque marble walls and floors you've seen. I have shoot blog posts there before and while doing so have witnessed wedding and editorial shoots taking place. While to a passerby it's simply a highly attractive entrance to a financial institution and a place to sit at to enjoy your lunch — but to me and a ton of bloggers out there it's the "marble wall" at One Sansome that you need to be photographed in front of. ;)

A few nights ago a few of my fave Latina bloggers and some local taste-makers were invited to quite the experience — a very fashionable fiesta at Mosto, a tequila bar, in the Mission district of San Francisco. We tasted a few different tequila and mezcal cocktails, nibbled on the most delicious Mexican botanas this side of Mexico City and debated "to eat, or not to eat" the insanely gorgeous Frida cookie at our place setting. Monica from Living In Vogue, our host, put together an editorial-worthy spread to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in all it's beautiful color saturated glory. I, of course dressed for the occasion and brought all my favorite colors to the party — my aqua faux fur stole and matte red lips were very on theme. ;)
