Makeup is a huge part of my daily routine. It can give me a boost in self-confidence, and allows me, as clothing does, to transform externally and internally into someone else if I wish to. It's not one of those things that I try to rely too heavily on as I don't want to change my outer appearance too drastically, so I love how fresh-faced and flawless Clarins beauty products make me feel and look.
I don't have a ton of time to get ready in the mornings, mostly because even those extra five minutes of sleep make a difference for me, so the getting ready process needs to be quick- including makeup application! These Clarins products I featured above really delivered in that department. The Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch primer made my skin smooth, even, and ready for application, and after applying the Instant Light Brush on Applicator, I dove right in with some light contouring, eyeliner, a few swipes of mascara, and ended with some gloss for that fresh-faced on-the-go look. My absolute favorite was the four color all in one pen. It's like one of those old school click pens from back in high school- with the different colors. This click pen had four shades, black, brown and blue eyeliner, and a light taupe lip pencil- it's so handy, I can't wait to play around more with this pen!
I've always loved Clarins products for their quality and ability to make me feel beautiful, and their skincare is also a winner in my book. Have you guys tried Clarins products before, if so what's your take on it?
Thank you Clarins for sponsoring this post.

Alright, you guys I'm back from NYFW and ready and rock and roll. It was a whirlwind, to say the least. I sat front row at Nicole Miller, ran into Brad Goreski grabbing a pizza to go, wore silk pajamas during the day and survived the insane- snow, sleet, slush, rain- weather that New York is so fondly known for this time of year. In a phrase it was incredible, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but maybe next time I will actually bring my mom's vintage furs like I told everyone I would. What can I say? I over packed and didn't have room!
