fur snood

{Zara moto jacket (similar style), Gap striped top, J. Crew jeans and heels, F21 beanie, Ann Taylor fur snood (another great one!), Zara handbag}

Sometimes I'm at a loss for what to wear to work on really, really cold days. I want to stay true to myself and look put together, but when it feels like 40 degrees outside all I want to do is shlep around in a head-to-toe puffer coat! So this is my medium- the fur snood that never comes off. It might just be me, but this piece adds such a glamourous feel to any outfit. Working in a creative space you have a lot of room to experiment with workwear, but since it's also not super dressy I toned down the glam feel by adding a beanie- to make it more downtown- and added the heels to keep it in charge.

  3. I love that snood!!!! I am crazy for faux fur and vintage furs. I'm not into buying new furs, but I can justify vintage ones because it doesn't increase the demand for new ones. And they make me feel like I am in an old movie.
    This was a great way to beat the cold and add some interest to your outfit.

  4. Love the marin sweather and the jacket! Would you like to follow each other on gfc and fb? Kisses from Norway!

  5. love your mixing of neutrals. this outfit is so cozy-chic. love.

  6. It's so fun to read your blog, as you describe things so intelligently. The beanie looks awesome with the chic heels! What a playful combo!

  7. A snood is the absolute perfect way to keep warm! Love this look, darlin'!
