femme fair class of 2017

Several weeks ago I was given the incredible opportunity to participate in Femme Fair- the first-of-its-kind San Francisco blogger sale. It wasn't just any blogger sale, this experiential eight-hour event — put on by Stacey, Christina, and Melissa- Bay Area based kick-ass bloggers you probably already know and love — was a production, one where local brands, influencers, media, and fans all came together to spend the day shopping (for a good cause), sipping on Campari Aperol Spritz, getting pampered and really just enjoying the gorgeous event space. These three ladies turned it on for this event, I've only ever been to an event of this caliber during NYFW put on by a real company so to see what these driven ladies accomplished in a matter of months was encouraging, beautiful and something to be admired!

When I was asked to participate in this event and be one of the 10 bloggers to have a booth to sell clothes, I knew I had to get in on this - it was such a great opportunity to work with nine badass ladies I admire and respect, and I could make a little extra room in my closet— a win-win if you ask me. We were encouraged to get the word out about this event as often as possible, and through the power of social media we were able to get a full house, word around the street is the line was around the building. To get into Femme Fair, you had to buy a ticket. The entrance fee gave you access to a braid bar, flash tattoo station, unlimited food and drink all day, sick beats, access to 10 bloggers closets', a goodie bag, amazing opportunities to create content through the uber chic activations placed throughout (hello, flower-filled Vespa casually hanging under a pink-hued sky) and the best part of all a portion of all ticket sales went to Planned Parenthood. I'm telling you these girls thought of everything!

To say the event was a success would be an understatement. If you ever get the opportunity to attend Femme Fair don't hesitate. It's truly uplifting to see super-women in action. Big thanks to all who came out and shopped my closet, and all the amazing sponsors (below) who truly made this day so special!
